Unhappy Shifter vibrations

I noticed the other day that my shifter vibrated alot while driving. Never really noticed it till I installed a Momo shift knob that had allen screws to hold it in place. I have to retighten those screws daily.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can stop the vibes or at least reduce them? Has any one else ran into this problem?

It's enough to loosen the allen screws that are securing my shift knob. I went to autozone and bought some lock tite and it seems to be holding the screws tight.

Any type of a screw-tightened hold where it's metal on metal, the screws will back out very easily with even a seemingly small amount of vibration. In these cases, loc-tite is indeed your friend - although I hope you didn't use the red stuff, cuz those won't be going anywhere for a long time! Trust me, voice of experience...

Check your buschings on the shifter
If those look fine, get under your car and follow everything from the shifter to the tranny.
Maybe a linkage bolt is loose and causing more than usual vibration.

Doesnt sound like a serious problem though
