E-manage
I've decided that I would like to keep my car N/A so that I can have some more power, but also keep my gas economy up. I would like to learn how to use an e-manage though so I can make my own adjustments to my car as the mods on my car change. That way I can tune my car for the gas we get around here (87/89/93) aswell. Does anyone have any advice so I don't kill myself or my car in the process? tutorials would be nice but anything that can help would be extremely helpful. I just cannot justify spending the money on a piggyback when I can tune myself to exactly what I have and get the most out of everything. Thanks in advance.

I highly suggest checking out the yahoo emanage group for pointers. Those guys have boatloads of knowledge, and although it might not be Lancer specific, you can get a lot of pointers from them.
The biggest thing to keep in mind is that the e-manage is very broad in what it is capable of so there's gonna be a lot of trial and error involved. I've had mine installed for over a year now and I've done very small adjustments for short periods but I've yet to feel comfortable either with my knowledge of tuning or the amount of tuning devices I have (gauges/laptop/dyno/etc.) to do more.
Another person I'd talk to is hobiekopek. He's done a LOT with the AEM EMS which is far superior and complicated than the e-manage. Again, he can help with pointers, if nothing else, since the two units will have their differences and when it comes to tuning you're learning something that isn't static, compared to something like a bolt on item like an intake or exhaust.
