hey people, i bought a 2004 mitsubishi lance basicaly for my girls car and daily driveing. she decided it was a good idea to go with tan interior, now she bought a new car and im stuck with a nast colour interior. anyway i really really really lol want black interior and i want to change it over. first question is would anyone want to trade interior? mine is in PERFECT shape. second, is there a way i can like die it or someething? were the new colour would last forever?? any idea?? what would u do if u were me???

theres tan interior for the lancer? is it leather?

 

^ no it came standard on the ES's and some LS's...

 

well not really a tan tan, but sort of like a cream colour? the dash and the top of the door is a dark blue. that plastic around the stereo and center consel is silver.
help please? what should i do? im going to the dealer on monday to see if theres any type of way i can trade it in, think theres any chance?

yeah pretty much what lookslikeanevo said. its going to be EXTREMELY hard to swap interiors with someone.

What you could do is take your car to a body shop and have them paint the interior professionally. What color are your seats? Just wondering whether if you paint your interior will the seats be all off?

 

id just stick with what you have, save you lots of money, time, and effort and painting and dyeing will eventually loook bad over time.

 

The way i see it you have 2 choices.
1. Leave it and live with it
2. Get your car re-upholstered

Painting and dying interior peices will look like you painted and dyed it. So if you like the cheap look then go with the cheap way of changing it.

Blacklancer03 has a tan interior and he has done his pimp! I actually wish I had the tan like his instead of my blue interior.

What color is the outside of the car? His is black, then tan and black on the inside! Looks very nice!
