You may want to check out www.carbuyingtips.com . Lots of good stuff there.

Anyway, when I went to get rid of my last car (transmission problems) I was in pretty much the same sitsuation. There was no way someone would take over my payments, as the payments were a bit more than the car was actually worth. If i trade it in I come out upside down, which is a BAD idea. Its like paying for 2 cars, and if you are planning on trading to a dealer it is very unlikely that you will get a trade in value you find on the 'net.

Sooooo......I payed it off as fast as was humanly possible to the point where I actually went without things that I normally purchased. All you need to do is pay it off until the value of the loan is less than what you can get out of it or get someone to take it over for you.
