I bought 2.25 inch piping with a magnaflow resonator here off the wanted/for sale classifieds. Now I'm going to buy a muffler off ebay and take everything to a muffler shop. I was wondering if I have to get a muffler with a 2.25 inch inlet or get a universal 2.5 inch inlet muffler... im thinking the OBX B5 but if that inlet size wont work then ill find a generic 2.25 inlet universal muffler. There's a lot more mufflers with 2.5 inch inlets... Cost is an issue. Want it under 50 shipped... Anyone wanna go ebay searching for me and post links?

 

it should be fine...hte muffler shop will make the needed adjustments...
