Just curios, have you checked the owner's manual on bulb replacement? They have a list in there of the bulb sizes and wattage (which is very important). Oh, and to answer your question about the different dome light 12V/10W, it means it pulls more current, which may or may not be a good thing. It would be brighter, but the dome light assembly was designed to supply the current for the OEM bulb wattage, which I think you said was 8W.

i actually dont know what the voltage on the dome light is suppose to be, but the stock bulb is 5W. and yeah i checked the manual on bulb replacement and it said WY21W for the rear signal bulbs which i cant find anywhere.......
edited: i think the 3157 and 3156 kinda look like the stock one that i have.... but still not sure about the size and everything

If you know what the stock wattage is on those rear turn signals than they are one of these three bulbs here:
http://www.costore.com/performancesh...thumbnails.asp

Im pretty sure its the 3157 which is backordered on that site, but you could find them on eBay, Im sure.

your bulb is similar to a 3156/3157 bulb type. but you have to have the wedge type, (japan style), not the u.s. type with the round bulb, it won't fit(i tried). you can probably get "Hyper White" style blue, but try to get the stealth type w/ the chrome coating. as for the trunk light, and the 110 watt reverse lights, don't leave them on or you will melt things in the housings, and eventually, the higher wattage trunk bulb will probably discolor the plastic around it after a while.

i am not condoning this for anyone else, but when i put those reverse(headlight) bulbs in i left them on for 5 min. no hot wires, tripped relay or hot plastic. i wanted to make sure nothing would happen. as for the trunk if you feel unsafe just add an aux. light in there.

when i had my 88 accord, a long time ago, there was actually someone who made a halogen reverse light that really worked good, now, putting 55W bulbs, might be o.k. for reverse cause no one goes in reverse longer than a few secs. however 110 watt bulbs would be highly unreccomended by me.

Those do not fit in mine,( evo), the base is too small. funny thing is that i can get the japan wedge type bulbs to fit in my s-10 3157 bases, but i tried going the other way around, and i probably could make them fit , but they do not fit, anyway, i would try the polarg brand of wedge bulbs, they also make " vision" bulbs that will make the hyperwhite bulbs not look blue.

okay i just took the tail lights out again and checked. I found that the yellow rear signal bulbs have no type number on it, all it says are 12V E4 in a square and WY21W which was what i found in the manual but none on ebay. I measured it and the height is 1.5 inch, the bottom flat part is .5 inch wide..... not sure if this would help
