ok.. I've been stumped over this and will probably hit myself hard in the head after i'm told what it does but....

On the Rally Evo/WRC Subu.. what is that intake on the roof for? I noticed the Evo has a center one and a smaller one to it's left and the Sub WRC has a single one.

what do they do?? and would they look cool on a lancer even ifit didn't preform is natural function?

i believe the roof vent is there to keep the drivers cool and the the interior from getting too hot.

race cars = no ac = very hot and uncomfortable temperatures.

 

i always thought it helped keep the car down, but i really have no idea
