so i was taking my intake off today to put the stock airbox in and i had to move my alarm siren...well i was just assuming like an idiot that the whole firewall was just a firewall with no parts...but there is a hose sticking out of the thing i got cirlced in the picture...anyways it seems likes its hissing now...did i mess anything up and how bad did i do?

 

are you talking about the master cylinder?

its a vacuum pump for something, crap, i forget what

its the master cylinder - powers your brakes ability to receive brake fluid if im not mistaken.

That's a brake booster... check your brake fluid...

 

the large part is the brake booster, on the front of it the master cylinder is mounted. The booster uses vacuum to amplify the effects of you pushing the brake pedal. You'll still have brakes w/o it, but they won't work as well. Get it repaired
