There is a kid around me that has a 96hb civic that has lambo doors.. They pop out and then open. I think he did his kit himself. I never asked him how he made them, but I know he ran into a ton of problems and it took him about a month to get them right. He parks his car out in front of his work with the doors proped open every day. ROFL it looks like its a seagull trying to fly away. lolol.
I'm not really a fan of them unless the car looks like it should have them, like the Acura NSX or something sleeker along those lines.

 

imo... i would have to say that lambo doors are one of the sickest visual mods u can do. as for the evo it would look really good if the beck were suicide with shaved handles.

all i know is if i had them i would drive around with my doors up all the time!
jk... but it is nice.

 

I think it's too overdone. I see them all the time on civics and to me it never looked right to begin with.

Not a big fan of lambos on a four door, think they look better on 2 door, coupes like the NSX or even the miata. On a lancer if you want custom doors, just get suicide doors, those are alright.

I dont know how its done but...... there is a lady that is always at the local car show. She and her husband have an Expedition. They couldn't decide if the lambo doors would look right on that big of an SUV or not. So what they did was this. Somehow(dont ask me how), they made it so that the doors could open regulary as well as the lambo style. All they have to do is some kind of switch or lever on the inner part of the door and it allows them to switch how the door opens. I'm really doubt that you are able to just buy this kit(plus nothing is made for our cars anyways), but maybe if you can find the right people someone can do this for you. Our local show dosent start up again until March so I dont have any way of getting pictures. But maybe you could talk to people in your area. Just and idea for ya man!!!

 

Can't really see the point in spending thousands of dollars on doors, which is what it seems it'd cost to do the lambo doors.

 

if ur going to make a car for show go for the lambos, but if ur dont just my .2

 

for our cars...they really wudnt look gud...yea they look "kool" only when they are on the right car...something small...sumthin that isnt as high as our cars...our cars are higher than many other cars if u havent onticed...so yea...itz a kool idea...but not really for 4dr rally lookin cars...but thats jus my opinion

 

The kits I have seen online usually have the feature of opening regular or lambo style. Also, someone else mentioned that they would have to pop out then go up. This is pretty much true of every car you put these mod-lambo doors on. Every car I've seen with these doors pop out first. I think they're pretty lame, but hey if you like it, it'll definitely set you apart and have people talkin'

 

on a side note ask anyone that has the lambo doors on their car what they think of them after they have them. There was this one dude that had them on his car at school. I saw them, walked over and started asking him about them. He told me he regrets it so much because his car isnt just a show car, its also his daily driver.

He said its a terrible pain in the *** to just get in and out of the car that he wishes he never did it. Plus he said it cost about a grand. Just a different perspective...

 

best is to shave the door handles and suicide the rear doors with the trunk mod...you dont own a 2door super car you own a 4 door grocery getter you dont need lambo doors they look stupid on 4doors and hondas...2gen dsms can pull em off and look good thats it IMO...oh yeah i guess lamborginis look good with them as well

evost evo are you refering to the flip flop trunk mod? I heard that mod makes your trunk leak and is held in place with a sliding door latch from a bathroom stall or something...

 

my friend has a lexus IS 300 with a 2 door conversion....with lambo doors....pretty sweet i thought...but for the money....just keep ur doors stock dude, there just as sexy
