Hood damper

Looking at Import Tuner I saw a Tein ad showing hood dampers. So I checked their website and found they didn't make them for any Mitsubishi. RRM hasn't had demand to produce them either. Does any one if there is another company with these for the Lancer?

Here's a shot of them on an Acura...

There was a thread about this a few months ago... I'm not saying run a search cause I just did and didn't find it. But I know there is a company that makes these for our car.

I bet you could go to a local place like Home Depot or a place like that. Then buy a damper similar to what tein has and make brackets to attach it them to the hood. Make a few adjustment and you've got then same setup. On the tein site they have the instuctions for install. It would probably be a lot cheaper for the same thing basicly.

Thanks, those look nice. Might order them assuming I don't hear back from Tein to see if they plan on doing them for the Lancer.
