Paint Question

I know some people have painted the armrest section and other soft vinal type peices in their cars, well my question is do those pieces get hard or do they stay soft? Also do they stay sticky from the paint. Answers to this would be very helpful. Thxs

Does it rub off at all or chip? What kind of paint did you use. I'm planin on using Krylon Fusion for plastics. Says it works on vinal also.

just make sure u do several coats, and even a couple of clear coat will help it from comming off. i havent dont my armrest, but i did alot of my dash (check out my ride). It keeps most of its texture and softness very well IMO

i got some vinyl spray from pep boys, and didn't use any primer. just make sure you clean it off before you spray it and do it in light coats. pm me if you have any questions.
