i think RRM sould travel around tunning cars like every other Evo vendor....i think it would be cool if they had a stand alone ECU for turbo lancers. what do u guys think?

There will never be enough interest. There aren't enough turboed lancers or Lancers worth tuning.

I don't think the traveling tuner will happen...

There is a standalone for the lancer... AEM makes it. I don't know of any others but many shops can tune the AEM now.

I saw a guy sell it used for about 900 once... then another for 1200 used. It can be gotten for about that if your patient.

If you can't afford to play with the big boys don't try... instead take the middle road... go emanage and up injector sizes. Then get yourself tuned. Power is power and can be had with both AEM/emanage. Safety can be had with both as well since emange offers a knock control harness. The AEM just offers more safety with temp compensation data as well as altitude compensations. It also has a ton more features for daily/track benefits. It's the ROLLS ROYCE of EMS's i think.

In the end you get what you pay for... good luck.
