Lightbulb Evo VI Technical Manual CD-ROM

Has anyone ordered the Evo VI Technical Manual CD-ROM from Co-ordsports (http://www.coordsport.com)?. If so, is the content in the CD-ROM equivalent to what you get in the two Technical Manuals? I wrote to them a couple of times but no one replied to my question at co-ordsports.

The CD-ROM contains the same info as in the manuals except you require an extra CD-ROM for the updates. Ask for Phil at Co-Ordsport he will reply to you.

How much does such an item cost?

Will it have enough information to allow a very competent mechanic with no access to Mitsubishi specific tools, to maintain an EVO6 as a daily driver?

It has enough information on this little gem of a tool that anyone, even my granny could maintain an EVO VI.
Although this vehicle is very hi-tech, it is also easy to maintain.
What you have to remember is that it is a rally-bred car, therefore everything, and I mean EVERYTHING! really is easy to repair(if you have the money).
I don't know the cost, but the manual costs around£60, so I should say it won't be far from that figure.

PS. If you wait until Wednesday the 3rd of January, Co-Ordsport will be open again after the Christmas holidays.Tel.No:01384 216103

Let's qualify that! Has your granny ever worked for Rallispec as a master mechanic?

Wow, that's great information! The reason I ask is that if can somehow get an EVO6 into Canada, where I reside, there still are no Mitsubishi dealers here to get special diagnostics done (ie. code reading) in case of a peculiar operating car.

No problem. All you need is a Snap-On tools dealer, they are now issuing a manual that reads any codes on any car as long as you have a digital multi-meter. They do over here in England anyway!
I suggest you get in touch with a Snap-On dealer and enquire about it, they really are the dogs dangly bits.
Or as an alternative you can purchase a MUTII tester, the mitsubishi diagnostic tool from Co-Ordsport, that is of course if you've got about 5 grand spare! and then you will have get the ROM packs that go with it.
I would try the Snap-On dealer first.
