To me the "WAS" means they think they will, but are not 100% sure.
You could say that "they were supposed to", but that implies that it has alread taken place. they are all most teasing you with the idea.
Take it how you want, All bets are we will know something either tomorrw, or on Monday @ the press conference @ 3:30 in detroit.

Well, HOPEFULLY we'll hear something within the next couple hours. I know the VIP showing for the LA show starts at like 6 pm. Damn I just wanna hear SOMETHING official! Hell, when I went back home for Christmas, I talked my parents out of a Eclipse and into a Evo when they come out. I CANT TAKE THE ANTICIPATION ANY MORE!!! AHHHHHH!!!! There, I vented.....feel better too!
dang good job get all the pics and get the specs. if it is possible ask what the US specs will be cause i cant wait till i get mine
