RRM Intake

I got an RRM intake on my car....and last christmas my car got f'd up...anyways i took it to the bodyshop and they did a great job looks brand new...until i opened the hood and my Intake K&N filter was dented inwards...so they gave me hell about it and said they didn't do it...in the end they said they would replace it...but only the filter....which brings me to my point...what is the part # of the K&N filter????

You could always go with a bigger and/or better filter as well as long as you pick the right size cone as well. I don't think the filter is the most essential part of their short ram so much as the velocity stack. I'm sure Rob or Gabe would be more than happy to help you out though.

(You don't drive an Evo though. Moving.)

I need to build me a short ram with HKS metal filter...built in velocity stack, metal end cap...it's sexy. Then again, the FIPK from the Stealth isn't bad looking either.

If you can't call anyone to get it, look online at K&N's list of universal filter apps, compare the dimensions (yes, you will actually have to do something by opening your hood and measuring things out: neck, overall diameter, etc.) and look for a comparable part number or even one that is bigger. As for Mr. Remove the Honeycomb: don't. Some people will say yes (and I'd personally like to see how their car runs), but you really should not.

The dent shouldn't hurt as long as there is no hole in it.
