Car Wreck... hit by a drunk driver

Hey all feeling pretty down at this point. Was involved in an accident on saturday the 12th. Was heading home at 4pm in the afternoon from work when i was T-boned by a drunk driver. She was traveling about 45 mph or more when she slammed into my drivers and back passanger door. The impact spun the car 180 degress and F ed me all up in the prossess. Went to the E-room to get checkd out and got exrays my back is pretty messed up as well as my neck. Gonna post some picks on here of the car, its in the shop as of today but im pretty sure its totaled. Will keep everyone posted as i will probably be selling my mods if the car is totaled. The kicker to all of this is, is that the woman who was driving the other vehicle was 4 times over the legal limit she had just got done drinking a half a 5th of jim beam and it was only 4 pm in the afternoon. Also she fled the scene, thank god there are some good samaritans left out there because a guy in a mini van chased her down and got her liscense plate # for me. Not that her car was in good shape either she blew out both from tires and was running on rims when she took off, and the radiator was dragging the ground leaking all over the place. Hopefully i will recover from this but i think my car will not but i will be finding all that out today will post more info when i hear more.

I'm sorry to hear about what happened but I must say that our cars seem to take side collisions very well. I mean you said she was going about 45 when she hit you and I know the damage is bad but it looks like it could of been worse at those speeds. Anyways, I hope you get better and if I were you I'd be sueing the **** out of her.

Glad to hear your still kicking man. Sew the hell out of her. Drunk drivers should be banned from any privilages what so ever. I have no tolarance for that.
As far as the car goes. I had simular dammage to a sunfire (Rental) A couple of years ago. I thought forsure it was written off. They repaired it though. Just hope that it is written off. You don't really want a car back that has been in an accident.

Man, that is terrible. That is good you're still alive. Lancer's don't have the greatest side impact rating, but that doesn't look as bad as some cars I've seen that got hit at the same speed. Sue the lady and get an evo. =]
