Accolaide bumper/hood kit, Pain or No Pain

I have spoke to a couple of people who have installed the older accolaide kits and according to them it was a huge headache. How about the newest front kit they are offering for $495, bumper and hood. Anybody know yet??

They have gotten alot better in recent years. The people that bought the old kits HATE accolade. Then people like me that bought the new kits love em. Next time do a search because this will turn into a Accolade sucks thread vs Accolade is the greatest thread in no time. We probably get on of these threads weekly.

The old accolade hoods had a flimsy latch which caused the hood to fly open and shatter a few windshields. But then they started implementing a stock hood latch and havent had a hood flying open since. But they highly recommend hood pins to keep further incidences from occuring.

I put my hood on for a night and drove around. no problems. i got the up to 70 and then i was at the road i live off. But i kept an eye on the hood, didn't move once. It takes a pretty good drop to shut the hood tho... so i doubt it will come up.
