Axle back questions.

I have done some searching about axle back exhausts and hp gains, if any. I have only found like two threads saying maybe 1-3hp gain with an axle back. Does anyone have any real evidence of any hp gain with an axle back?
What is the best axle back in the lower price range to get?

You won't really see much gain on a bone stock Lancer. It's mostly just for looks and sound.

I really didn't notice a gain with my RRM axle back. On thing I notice was a very nice exhaust sound.

Even a Cat-Back won't give you that much in gains by its self. Its a start. Cheap mufflers are cheap because of the quality not the performance. If you buy a universal muffler its not an axle back system, its just a muffler. Cheap mufflers tend to Rot out and break down faster then a Stainless Steel, straight through design, mufflers. Ceramic packed (glass packed) is best.
