This morning on the way home from a buddy's house, for some reason the shifter really did not want to go into either 2nd or 3rd gear, I ended up having to go from 1st to 4th. After like 5 minutes the problem went away and the car seems to be fine. Anyone else have this problem or know of what could have caused it?

a year ago my car wouldnt go into 2nd and thrid all the time adn sometimes 1st adn reversse, really strange that it went away after a month or so, never figured it out, bump i guess

 

i had this trouble in the extremely cold weather a few times
did you warm up your car??? or did you just start up and go?
after a few minutes of driving it went into the gears smoothly
i think its the cold weather that does this??

 

^^ I have the same experience when it get really cold. I don't know why it happens

 

I'm just gonna get my transmission fluid replaced with BG synchroshift, it needs it anyways so this is just gonna make me do it sooner.
