RRM Header Soundclip

Ok guys, here it is!! I just got my header installed the night before last. That lower left nut everyone has been talking about is the only reason it took 2.5hrs to install lol. I got it off by using the 14mm open end wrench and attaching a steel cable to it and pulling up on it with a hammer through the top of the exhaust manifold.. haha that was enginnered well. Anyways, the install only took about 15mins after I got the old manifold off. After putting on the new header from RRM the CEL light stayed off for about 100 miles, then came on. Its ok though.. it was all worth it. BIG gains in power.. everwhere from 2500 RPMs and up.. I need to go get my car dyno'd but there aren't many places around me that have one. Yea, here is the install pic and sound as promised.

its for wiretap or whoever wants to hear it. i made it the worst quality cause picture doesnt matter anyways, and i didnt edit out the parts where i got in and out of the car... theres also a weird noise at the end, it doesnt make that in reality.

You took that video from the engine bay.. when I recorded the sound of mine, I had my Pocket PC recording it about 10 feet back from the car.

I'm leaving the test pipe on for now.. I just had it put on before I got the header. (about 3 weeks earlier) I don't feel any loss in the low end compared to before I had the header so unless I get pulled over for a noise ordinance violation, it stays on. =/

sounds good... Record it while driving... the tone of the car always changes a little while you're actually on it

At least you can say the ricey sound is actually cause of performance, not just a huge, 8 inch ehaust tip. I got the header, but no exhaust simply cause I like the more stealthy, purring, V6 type sound.
