There is a "teflon-guard" thing they make. I'm not exactly sure what it is called. IF you watch Monster garage on Discovery Channel, Jesse JAmes used it in the episode with the Terminatior 3 truck (toyota tundra)... They made the whole passenger side into one big door that opens up.. and a tommy gate comes down with a motorcycle. TO prevent sparks from the tommy-gate... they used the teflon-guard thing to rub on the road. I heard it's pretty cheap and you can get it at home improvement stores like Home Depot.

Wow... you're gonna spend a bunch of money on something to protect something else that cost a bunch of money??? The double sided tape and aluminum plate or even wood is a good idea from above. The splitter, if installed correctly (slightly lower in the front) will only make the front lower- and then you run the risk of the splitter lip catching on something and ripping off the front lip. Ask me how many times I've accidentally run into a parking barrier with my splitter on, thinking I had enough room. a couple of times the splitter popped off (but didn't take the lip with it, thankfully).

I can't even approach my driveway without scraping- unless I pull in backawards. Then it's no problem. If I need to be head-in (to get into my garage) I just do my turning around on the driveway.

also, with the straight across design, you're going to have issues with fitment because of where our two tow-hooks are located..... I think it's gonna look funny if clearance wasn't cut out

that doesn't address the issue of the lip catching on stuff..... if his problem is that he's too low, why make him lower?

really his car wont make his car lower and it will do what he is lookin 4 ! protect his bumper! because i think he would rather hit his splitter than his front bumper! as soon as i install my front bumper i will take some pics ok! sometime this week!
