This looks and feels like a battery to me.. anyone know what it is? It is very solid and looks like it has electrical cables going to it. It is located under the driver side rear bumper. If it is a battery, could I tap into it for power for something like stereo amp or neons?

could it be a power relay for the rear lights and fuel pump That's what I've always guessed it was, but never really cared....

 

If I was a ricer I would have graphics and stickers all over my car with flashing strobes that give you seizures.

i think it has something to do with the evap system so leave it alone, plus why would there be a battery there anyways?

 

I just thought it might have been an auxilary battery or something.. it feels like its hard and kinda heavy with electrical wires coming from it. If it was a battery, everyone knows a shorter power cable to your amp is better, so it could be useful.

 

its your evap emissions canister. set it on fire.

You already have altezzas, a big wing, and useless carbon fiber. All you need now are neons to seal the deal.

 

Just a taste in style. I believe it looks clean. At least they aren't chrome altezzas. The wing helps stabalize the car at highway speeds, I got it free from a guy who didn't want it for his evo. I traded him my OZ rally wing. Couldn't pass up the deal, or else I never would have got it.
