brembo brakes

I dont know if this has been discussed before. I searched and couldnt find anything.

I have been wondering if its possible that evo's rear brembo calipers can be moved to replace a lancer's front calipers?

hmmm, thats a real good question. id be interested to know. imagine that: evo owners having an incentive to sell theyre rear brakes to lancer owners so they can get bigger brake kits, and lancer owners gaining a brembo marked brake caliper. its a win win.

nah, not really. i could ask evo owners who have:

-totalled their car and parting out the car

-upgraded their brakes and sell their stock ones

OR

-buy from dealership

-get from brembo.com

what about the ralliart's brakes...it outstopped the Sentra SER spec V (60-0) in a magazine test i saw, and the sentra has brembos.

mmm this is getting more complicated.

maybe its possible to swap our stock calipers with ralliart calipers or even swap them with SE-R's brembo calipers (since its same bolt pattern and size)

what do you guys think?

Probably could do it, but it might be cheaper to just get the wilwood or RPW upgrades. I think the evo ones would be hard since its a 5 bolt pattern.

yeah evos have 5 bolt pattern but the size of the calipers look so identical to our stock calipers.

it looks like we could just take off the rear calipers from the mounts and put them on the front caliper mounts.

what do you think about that?
