It's good to be back.

But then, the last guy to use a quote from me might still have it. Not sure.

There should be a newb forum where they can ask noob questions to other newbs.. Then they would all get along in a newbish fashion.

Oh snap.. I totally forgot about that forum.. maybe they should call it "I'm a newbie but I don't want to admit it forum" so they would be less embarassed to use it.

I wanted to initiate a system where you'd have to use the search function, get a page of results an only on the search results pages would you get the start new thread button... of course, some freakin noob came along, copied it and in both threads started making an *** of himself, causing both to be shut down Anyone wonder why I'm hardly on anymore?

Certainly not because you're busy porting my '93 IM. Which still rawks, btw.

But it's a vicious cycle.. newbs post newb questions, and the true veterans lay back while the not-so-newbs shout "omg search!"; until those newbs get it in their head that they should search, making them not-so-newbs themselves, right around the time new newbs come around asking their own newb questions..

And so the student becomes the master.
