Shifter linkage bushing

As being a regular on Evom im always lookin for new stuff to do and i noticed the Kartboy shifter linkage bushings, now i know this isnt some INSANE mod that i could do (i mean its just 30 bucks) but im still curious on two accounts, one being does anyone have this done? and two, once you did it does it really make your shifter feel better or is just some sad gimmick? i might just do it just to give me the excuse to call some friends up throw back some beers and work on cars. But any responce would be most appriciated

thanks,
matt

its sick, it makes your shifter feel very very accurate, and many many people have this, almost all of them. i had them and sold them like an idiot, now i think im gonna pick up another set. trust me, its well worth the money, i'd even pay more. wait for other replys if you dont believe me on this but i gaurantee they'll say the same thing i did.

buy them.... buy them... go ahead buy them, sorry my concsience is speaking out loud again.lol

All I can say is, I like having crisp shifts when I'm on the track. I think I've missed only one shift since having them installed.

I'm the one maxum17ft sold his too! Sucks for him, i know. I feel bad. He thought he was selling the car. Anyway, the bushings are incredible. I don't think I can ever go back to stock. I love how the gears almost "lock" into place. Very excellent mod for basically no cost at all. Install was a breeze. Took 5 minutes (easier for Lancer than EVO, we don't have to remove the battery)

I've gotta go ahead and throw my two cents in here, anyway..

It's easy, it's relatively cheap, and it's one of the best things you can do to your gear selector aside from getting a short shifter. At Urbanknight's recommendation a while ago, I picked up bushings and a short shifter at the same time; just one of the cheap ebay ones; since you'll already have your center console stripped apart anyway.

It's good to bring this topic to the front every now and again for those who might have missed it the first time around and don't do their searching. These li'l green things rock my world. You'll love 'em.

I didn't think it would make that much of a diff. but it does! I made some shifter base bushings and it shifts soo nice! Engages(s/p?) perfectly everytime!Really easy to make your own. Don't know about the shifter linkage bushings, but I am sure they make the shifts even smoother, heard some neg. post about them thou. Do a search.

Having put in both sets at the same time, I can't say which one makes more of a difference. The combination is well worth it, though. Nothing negative on them coming from me.

Buy the combo.

The two small ones go under the hood, and the four large ones are the base bushings.
