Ok, I live in Michigan and I want a Lancer, but the only style i've seen (2002) I don't like I want an older one. Anyone got any ideas where I can get one?

 

Lancer is new this model year in this country, before this year it was the Mirage. If you are refering to the Evo, then we are all out of luck because it has never ben sold here. From what we are hearing the soonest it will see our shores will be in 2004. Hope this helps.

 

Yah that helps, but boy that bums me out, I really wanted one, I don't think I can wait that long so the 2002 might have to work, do you know if alot of mods an be done to it?

I dont think the aftermarket has put a lot of support behind it yet, but it might. I read something recently that someone had transplanted a turbo from the Eclipse into an 02 Lancer, so that might work. Run a search on this site for RMR products, I think they make some aftermarket things for the Lancer.
