First Lancer for me....New member also
Well, I bought my first lancer today. It was a great deal. Im 16 and just got my license. I test drove it and loved it. Its a 2002 Lancer OZ rally edition. I got it with custom leather seats that have OZ rally racing emblems in the seats. They are only available in MA, USA and I must say they are a bit pricy but rule. $1500 is the price tag to put them in.....But well worth it for me. I hope to put some mods into the car....but to me it really didnt need much.
Is there anything that I must do to it? I wanted to get a 5 spd but where I am going to be going to college in Boston(if you have been to boston, you know why....traffic stinks.) I ended up getting the automatic.
I hope I made a good decision in this being my first car. Any ideas on what mods to do?
EDITING THIS JUST BECAUSE I CAN EDIT MY FIRST POST I MADE ON THIS FORUM 4 YEARS AGO, **** THIS WAS WHEN IT WAS LANCERFORUMS.COM. WHAT A n00b I WAS BACK THEN LOL

Shiat, 16 and already thinking about college.... If you use manual in traffic you'll just get used to it even more. If it is sure that you'll be studying in Boston I'd recommend the public transport there anyway. Very good for an American city.

Yeah im pretty young but Im a Junior in high school......I think my only option pretty much was the automatic.....with the new 20 year construction....its pretty hairy driving through there.
16 ain't to bad for thinking about college. I was 17 when I started. I already finished a semester (still on winter break actually) and I'm turning 18 on the 18th. Hooray for not being legal when you start college! Someone better buy me an Evo for my birthday to damn it...hehehe...
