Thursday Jan. 17 10pm – 10:30pm

I can asure you that you are not watching High-Def on Speedvision. Have your friend show you HDNet if he has DirecTV, you will know the difference between HD vs SD.
I wish it was... maybe I should email Mark Cuban to broadcast it on his HDNet station on DirecTV.

 

Ya...I know it's not Hi-def....I just like saying that I'll be watchin it on a HDTV . He does have Digital Cable though....which is nice

I get digital cable just so I can watch Speedvision. It's also kinda cool to have the on-screen TV guide too.

Anyway I don't think that Mitsu will do well at all this seasons, at least not by their standards, set by Mr. Mäkinen.

a) they've got mediocre drivers

b) they've got a mediocre car

I think they are rebuilding this season and could fall into a big slump, not unlike McLaren in F1 after Senna left. All the team structures will have been built over years to basically just listen to and cater for one driver. That cost McLaren a long time and I think Mitsu might have the same problem...

 

well, if alister would drive like his brother colin with no reservations then mitsu might have a chance. but against subie and the rest with star drivers, it is a tough call, i agree. i cannot imagine though why TM left after naming a car after him and making the evo 7 per his specifications?

 

The 7 was definetely not per his specifications cause he didn't like the car... or at least it was made badly. Anyway, I'm talking about the 7 WRC, not the road car.

 

i thought after making improvements on the evo 7, he liked it especially the tall gears of the tranny and how it behave on corners?

 

Mitsu's chances are not good in WRC. Fourth rate car with a 10th rate driver.

 

I dont think Mistubishi will do that well this year. Like MichaelK said, it will be a couple of years while they make the transition to the new car. All the focus was on Makinnen and how he liked the car, they set that thing up so he could win championships in it. Now that they have new platform it will take some time to tweek it and get it to their new number 1's liking.

Look for Subaru, or Ford to take it all this year.
