Hey guys
Just for the curiousity, I buy car magazine evey month and after look all the car accessories stuff, i just can't seem to find the accessories for our lancer, of course i can find a little bit on internet but still not a lot things, why don't they make more accessories for our lancer, just like they made for civic or accord???

The reason why there ain't all these aftermarket accessories for our Lancer is because, you gotta understand that the Lancer has only been here less than 3 years. And look at the Civic how long has it been here? Probably 8-10 years. Another reason is the Lancer dosn't have the Civic's popularity among teenagers who buy them. The Civic is also widely mod friendly, meaning you could find just about anything that you want on a Civic. Give the Lancer a few more years and the parts and accessories will start flowing.

I just want to see that we can buy our lancer accessories as easy as buy the civic accessories, and don't have to look all over the place just try to find a simple car part!!!

It's all about time. I'm shure in the early days of the Civic, people were looking everywhere to find 1 single part but not much luck. And look at the Civic now, Sooooo much accessories. It'll blow off your mind. Don't worry a couple of more years the Lancer will be there.

the civic was around a long time befor the import scene hit, like the early seventys, about 7 years ago I had a 79 civic with 36k on the odometer it was a funny car. looked like a big toe had a 2 speed manual shift automatic any hoo the civic was the jap import that started it all so there are lots of parts. I'm hopefull that the lancer will get 1/3 the support and following that the civic has.

yup , Grams had a 78 Cvcc i think it was back then and Lancers i heard have been in Japan since like mid 90's , i think it was a scare on the american market that kept them from us so long, Just be patient , alot of your older (term wise) members on this site know where to find all the good stuff, look around different threads in here like show and shine etc you'll see links all over that may help you find stuff and after FFII you'll see plenty of parts im sure
