Buying New Leather Interior
You're not going to be able to install those yourself, no matter what the salesguy says, unless you are a professional upholsterer. You'll need to go to an auto upholstery to get it done, I guarantee.
I dont think he would lie...
Well I dont think the guy would lie to me since his whole business is almost completely internet based do-it-yourselfer people. People that dont wanna have to pay a ton of money for something you could do yourself. I did ask him alot about installation and he said I would have his complete assistance in any questions I had and then described the whole process to me. Told me its not that difficult once you get into it... it just takes a bit of time to get everything to fit tightly. Said its basically clipping all the hog-rings that hold your cloth on and then slipping the leather back over where you pulled the cloth off and hog-ringing it back down. He said some installs are trickier then others so I could call if I needed any help. He also said that over 90% of his customers are non-professionals that do it themselves. Anyways if you have any questions call him about it and have him explain it to you. You dont have to take my word. Its a free call and he is a really nice guy. Just ask for Eric and tell him about the forum. He'll tell ya whatever you want to know.
