SEARCH
btw pusha does not back you up so don't put my name in this. I don't think you even searched!

well i dont feel like stiring up controversy cause im tired of seein 3 theards bye the same person on the same subject .... at least this time you have showed me you went lookin for mufflers and have given links for certain ones. but anyways if the money is not an option i would go with the magna flow its not gonna be as noticble when you look at it from the rear but its gonna give you a nice sound from what ive heard. if you want more of the basic "import style" exhaust get one of the others personally i have a 3a racing carbon fiber one and it sounds great im sure whatever you buy youll love the sound .....

Or you could simply search in the first damn place. If everyone posted on here without searching we'd have a ridiculous amount of identical threads, which would make the mods jobs a living hell as well as eat up bandwidth, possibly causing this to become a pay site.
Oh and heres some threads on the subject, including one of yours

Bottom line, search, its not hard, and it will stop the flaming. Really if you don't like being flamed, don't fuel the fire, its that easy.

So why is it that you are friendly to some of the people, but then someone else does it and they are your arch enemy?

Its directed towards anyone who acts like a jackass instead of actually offering help, which is one reason why these forums are here.

jeez, is it honestly that hard to just try to help someone out? I mean, you post enuff in the thread, might as well give some helpful info.

my best suggestion Lazer, after you search, PM some guys that you see posting a lot in the threads you found, because they'll prolly be more helpful than other peeps here who just want to add to their post count. Trust me, I've been in the same situation, after searching and doing some research, there are still some questions you need answers to, but its not worth getting flamed over. So instead of making more threads, just PM some of the Guru's or guys who seemed to have helpful info in the other threads.

Ok, I had a fireball style universal muffler on my talon, I got it off ebay for 30 bux back in the day. It sounded deep.. but I don't know how the crappy 420a motor will compare in sound to the 4g94 motor. The muffler will have to be custom welded with another bracket on it so it won't scrape the ground ghetto style. Just buy one off ebay, and you will probably be happy since it will be cheap, and give you a sound coming out of your tailpipe. Just don't expect it to last very long or give you any power. In that case, road race motorsports has a nice magnaflow catback that would give you the exact sound you are looking for and good quality that will last the life of your car + 5hp to 9hp at the crank.

summary from everyone who answered in this thread:
-if money isn't a problem, buy RRM or magnaflow
-if u don't wannt spend crap load of money but still want some sound (no performance improvement, at all) then go for the ebay ones

honestly, i wouldn't recommand getting the ebay ones as it would be just a total waste of money, even $30. you could be spending that money on something that actually helps ur car or make your car look better, instead of making people on the street cover their ears and stare at you when u pass by. just my .02

Wow, see how easy that was. Thanks to the people who actually helped, i really appreciate it. I did find an alternate way out with this, i talked to my friend last night and there is some muffler shop around here, im going to stop by there today since im heading out that way anyways. But i will keep all of that in mind. I might ask another question or something, seeing how i already have a thread up it wont make a difference.

Another summery:

Nobody likes mufflers because they are cheap, don't give any performance, and the design usually sux.

Ractive NO WAY!!!!

Magnaflow YES!!!!

Instead of buying it for $40.00
Go to a local muffler shop and tell them to set up a custom 2.25" exhaust with a magnaflow muffler. If you will be lucky you will pay less than $100.00
And then you are going to gain some respect and performance.
Getting a muffler and just putting it on a stock exhaust does not make much sense because you are still going to spend the same about of money as on a custom catback.

I just went to that muffler store, they just said they specialize in putting them on. I called the place that usually does custom work on my car, and they said they dont do mufflers (like i thought), but there is a place right next door to them that will. Im waiting for a call back today at 3:00 PM to let me know a little more about that.
