but most importantly, if i mail you a dozen cookies, can you hook up the greenpsycho?

that might be possible, 100-150 (but thats cheap and a lot of damn work, so we'll see) but when it comes down to it, most people wont do it after finding out what materials cost,

anyone got a stock set of headlights they wanna sell cheap so i can do a retro on those?

for people that are wondering:
cedia headlights=270
projectors + hid kit= 280-400(depending on what type of projector, and where you get it)
other materials(paint screws, pvc,)- 40
time- 8 hours/pair

so i can see why i good set of already made projected headlamps that come with HID's run pretty high, a cheap setup can be made but you get what you pay for, as with any other car part....

overall not a bad project,

IF-
you have opened you lights before and know what your getting into
have the ***** to do it without a spare set of lights
you have a lot of patience
you have a lot of time
you do your research on hidplanet.com
you like to do things yourself
you want to set you car apart from everyone else(especially the lancer crowd, who dont really have access to a projector headlamp assembly)

on a scale of 1-10 of mode, i rate this a 10, its pimp

You;ve encouraged a some people to go out and do it on your own. I started working on mine back in may i believe (before school let out), and it's really time consuming, i just haven't had the time, since i've been working - *trying to get rims, which is should be getting on July 21st or so* hehe. but excellent job, I would definitely recommend doing it on a spare headlight pair. I wish i had the cedias, looks it'd be easier to insert projectors into that than what i'm doing, thats why I"M using a PROJECTOR HOUSING from another car, so it would work better than just throwing the projector into the stock part. =P so i guess what i'm doing is one of a kind too?

lookslikeanevo, that's an amazing job... seeriously that looks f%#@in awesome! best i've ever seen. you should be otu there marketing those headlights to companies to copy (of course giving you royalties). do'nt put your hard work to waste! start emailing and sending pictures (after copyrightin everything) hahahaha
