just save up some more and get a good radar jammer/detector, the one mentioned above, ESCORT, is IMHO THE BEST ON THE PLANET!!! they cost a lot, but a radar detector was your original intent anyways, so if your short some cash borrow some from ::cough:;.parents::cough::. i do believe escort and a few other top companies are guarenteeing they'll pay for your ticket if u should get one, AS LONG AS, it was installed/mounted properly.

Avoid springs, you'll need new shocks in a year or less. Cheapest seats I can think of would be like Tenzo, and those are pretty crappy, and still like 600 a set.

if you know anyone that works at best buy...tell them to get you the escort...cuz they get a really good employer discount on just about everything...got my viper 761 alarm for 105 bucks with the warrenty and all that other paper stuff...
Why would you buy a radar detector when they are illegal to use in this state? They don't really help that much any ways. I've gotten plugged twice while using one.

Wanna buy mine? It only fits a 12 inch though, and needs some TLC to finish it up. I would go with this though. Building a nice box that allows you to use your trunk is definitely worth the money spent.
