No performance huh... Well, where came start. Body kit of your choice, and since performance isn't on your to-do list---18"s. Dampening Tein CO's, custom interior, a sick-custom stereo install, etc... The list goes on. How bout a trick paint job (some H o K paint should do it). Skip the bags---go with Teins.

RRM's kit and the SDS will be great starts. Contact the companies if you need to, but I haven't heard anything about anyone not passing an emissions test! Not to mention that you could always get that other stuff later! I would not worry about 18s unless you want mine that are a little damaged, but like $500 off retail! Let me know! I would go with the go stuff first, the show will follow!

first thing to do: take it to the post office and buy the following:

1 stamp, 1 envelope, and a money order for the remaining amount.

Next: label and address envelope to me (address given upon e-mail)

Third and finally: insert money order and send.

Personally, from my own experience, if I had to do it all over again I probably would have gotten some nice and affordable rims to start. Then I would have skipped the speaker, seat, CAI, headunit etc....and went FI (preferably supercharged.) I would much rather have a sneaky sleeper than a halfway show car. Seriously, how many body kits do you see in a day while you are driving to work and back? Now, how many sleepers do you see?

I just think that value of being able to break off somebody that wants to run with you.....all the while you are in a lancer...is priceless. Spend the $$$ how you see fit.

Actually, i think u should skip the rims too... just skip everything until FI, n get something that u prefer... supercharger, or turbo. that would be one sick sleeper, n then u can race these kids in cars, that u kno u'd beat, for $$

if you want to go FI, ive been hearing some pretty good things about the RIPP sds. imo its a lot safer option to FI (or at least appears to be), you should pm nextgenerationx or greenpsycho and ask them about it. im not a show guy, thats why i say you should go performance, but do whatever you truly desire.

im not interested in body kits, spoilers, graphics, fart can exhaust, etc. im more of the clean, "sleeper" look, slammed, with system, a set black with polished lip rims, and lurking under the hood the ripp sds! but was worried out the emissions thing, thats how i bought the lancer. my other vehicle had only headers, CAI, and exhaust and it failed. dealer wouldnt fix it so i had to trade it in.

I Went the whole exterior first with rims/tires/body kit/cf hood/spoiler/lights blah blah.. Save yourself teh hastle and money and just go F/I.. The lancer looks good the way it is, just remember when you lower your car GET TEIN basic dampers. Dont go half *** like I did and get springs. Doesnt matter if their eibachs/progress/sleeves, they all **** up ur struts.
