I was just watching NOPI Tunervision on Speedvision.. I think it was the Tennessee episode. I saw an army green 2003 lancer with CF hood and colored tint on there.. I think a black guy was standing next to it at the end of the show, he looked like the owner. They showed the car like 6 times and zoomed on it once. Anyone know who it is??? I think I might have seen it on the boards, but I can find it again. Link anyone? Or step forward.

 

eh... custom paintjob would probably be something in registries... go find em wiretap!

 

its on the board he posted pictures out in a field or something... i remember seeing it on here... and i saw the episode and saw the car as well, how many times they showed it i was hoping they would takl to the owner

 

I know, I swear I saw it somewhere.. I found a thread with a civic hatchback with an awesome army pattern paintjob. Now I need to find the lancer with custom army green paintjob. It looked tight. !!!

 

Theres a picture of it I found.. but it was from someone else's post also looking for this guy, lol. They said he hasn't made peep for like a year or something. I know there is a post somewhere with like 6 high res images of his car after he finished the paintjob.. errrr. I dunno. I'll find it sooner or later.

 

You find that pic in the "Lancer color changed thread"? I posted that we haven't hear a word from him for a while. At the beginning of the year, I remember looking through a thread of his where he was showing the camo paint job and got flamed for it. Blame it on the "rice" factor; but, it was still alright. But yeah, not a word as of late.

Thanks! Yup thats it! I was just looking for the car, and a few more detailed shots of it. By no means a green paintjob is rice lol, or else our entire army would be a bunch of "rice humvees" . I guess I was just searching the wrong keywords. Cool, you've been much help. Thanks again!

 

that car reminds me of the Ninja Turtles toy van i use to have as a kid.... must just be the green lol

 

LOL, its almost the same color as the Ninja Turtles skin.. hahaa, but I think it looks pretty sweet. That one and the camoflague civic hatchback could be army sponsorship vehicles.

That army green lancer is sick. Just about every area of the car has been modified, with the exception of forced induction. Not my favorite color choice, but it gets major points for being unique. His newer cardomain pics also show his yellow window tint and carbon fiber front splitter. The yellow tint looks weird, but I guess you have to get used to it. But overall, I think the car is very unique and he gets mad props from me.

 

Ya, I have yellow tint too, lol. Its really cool from the inside of the car when you look out, but your eyes adjust really quick and its no big deal at all. All my friends think its cool. But I also like the uniqueness of the car. It came out perfect with that paintjob and the cf combined. Looks great.
