only reason I'm interested in a turbo kit for our cars, is because lots of the peeps with 02-03's with NA mods don't seem like they have produced much power. Read too much about guys saying they're tired of getting beat by other cars, and they say themselves that they wanna save up for turbo's themselves. So I dunno about you, but I don't wanna waste my money on mods that I don't think I will be happy with. But to each his own.

Yeah, idk what is up with you guys, but they already have 75% of the 04-05 turbo kit done, because it's the SAME as the 02-03 turbo kit. They just need to solve the returnless fuel system problem.

I'm not saying to not make one at all, just that I'd bet there are like only about 20 of us 04-05 guys period that like to mod their cars, and it would be an awfully expensive deal to make a turbo if only one or two ever bought it, that's all.

Couple of things. One this is about Regular OZ/LS/ES Lancer, not RAs. Secondly turbo kit is quite different because it returnless fuel system and new headlights, which block one of our pipes. It requires a major reengineering of the kit.

^^^
That's exactly why I said it would most likely not be worth it especially if only one or two peeps wanted one, and even if they say they want one, no guarantees they will buy when final product is finished.

I have to look at the many turbo kits sold for the 1st gen Lancers. I highly doubt that all of a sudden, the people buying 2nd gen are all poor, NA modders.

Turbo kits are going to sell because everyone wants to be faster. Hell, Civics are even cheaper, but those owners sure seem to buy turbo kits...

I definitely disagree with your logic. Besides, RRM owns Lancer modification. They're the best. And they have faith in the community.

omg!! hey RRM tried to install a kamikaze header on my 04 lancer...it doesnt fit... its off an 03.. same engine.but seems like the other end of my 2nd cat is welded to the downpipe.. so i only have one flange on my 2nd cat making it imposible to directly bolt an aftermarket downpipe to it.. sucks!!!!! learnd the hard way..omg..just a yr difrence from 03 to 04... alot of lil changes..sucks.. 1st the greddy exhaust now this.. ahhhhhhh...gheyness...=( my point is..theres a need for parts...specifically for us 04-05 non RA guys.. coz not all parts from and 03 fits the 04! again..good call RRM keep it up... im juts soo pissed right now..

no way man, haven't you been noticing all the new members coming to the forums nowadays. they all having 04-05 models now, which I think is pretty kewl considering there were only a few when I came to the forums, but now its growing. Check the registry, theres hella more peeps than 20. And there's prolly even more than just the registry, because hell, I'm not even in the registry....lol

Hell yeah, don't bash us new guys. Anyways, My heart lies with RRM because of their dedication... otherwise I'd be like those other guys cutting and modding mods... thats like re-writing a perfectly good book, because one of the words were mispelled.

Personally, Im lookin for CF Projector Headlights, CF Taillights, and a Turbo Kit, definitely impressed on how fast RRM put out their OWN Lowering Springs for the 05 ES.

Definitely lovin the speed and progress of RRM and their products.

Can I have a decal? LOL!!!

First off, this turbo kit will have some surprises you will like. Second, CAI is for 5 speeds. We have acouple other things in the works, but they are surprises.

Where is this CAI listed for sale on your site Rock? The only one I see is the AEM, which you have listed for 02-05 models, and I have an 05 and an AEM CAI, and believe me, it DOES NOT fit as direct bolt on, you have to shorten the length of the elbow shaped pipe and angle the thing downward to get it to squeeze between the upper radiator hose and battery. The upper radiator hose is angled towards the battery on the 04-05 models instead of towards the ground as in the 02-03 models. I suppose if one removed the radiator fan it might fit without cutting the elbow shaped pipe length, but I was not about to do that to just have a CAI.
If the AEM is what you are talking about, I would love to see a pic of it on your 04 car and how you got it in without any extra modding.
