intakes ??
has anyone ever heard of BOMZ racing ?? is it a good company to buy a short ram kit ?? or should i stick to the cold air intake ?? does it really make that big of a difference ?
let me get this one....
SRI = automatic tranny
CAI = manual
auto's can't use a CAI because the tranny is larger and there isn't enough room to get the piping down behind the bumper.
you're going to get flamed for asking this, fyi. it's been asked every other day for the past three years. if you're looking for stuff on ebay, when it comes to intakes i've never heard anyone say bad things about any of them. the discussions usually center around comparisons between brand names (AEM, Injen, ...) Just remember, if it turns out to be junk, you have no one to blame but yourself.

I have heard of thats company but it really doesnt matter. Ebay brand is just as good as any other brand. The air filter makes the difference. Its just piping. Got a K&N air filter and your fine. I have a Ebay CAI and have no problems
Whats the deal with the "Weapon R secret air intake"??

You get what you pay for..... it's the rule of thumb. Don't expect some ebay cheapo CAI or SRI to be as good as Injen, AEM etc.... the 05 OZ has the same engine as 02+ so it will fit.
I thought Rock from RRM was saying the CAI won't fit the 04+ models because of the different headlight housings getting in the way of the piping. So the bad news is 04+ can only use an SRI for now, but the good news is RRM is currently working on a CAI with piping to fit the 04+ if you can wait a little longer.
Oh, that's simple....it creates a flaming blue vortex that force feeds your intake,
It works on turbulence to ram the air in.
Anywho...I don't recommend Bomz unless you plan on buying a different filter. It is all about the filter element...the more microns it filters out (like an oil filter) the less air that comes in but the cleaner the engine is...
Hope that helps..
I could be wrong, I must have been recalling some other conversation. In that case, just verify with the shop that it fits. And as for Bomz, the first thing that comes to my mind is Ebay, but take that as you wish.
