After having my car for like a week I put a cai and a 2.5" exhaust an all the dealership told me was that I voided my warranty on the stock intake and exhaust. Isnt that weird???

You must not actually have read what I said. You can speculate all you want, but they can claim there is something different. Anything, maybe they resurfaced one street on your daily commute and it is stickier, maybe you make more frequent stops over the Summer to get a slurpee on the way home, maybe... maybe... maybe.

What you are not paying attention to is that you have nothing concrete. Everything is speculation. And you can't possibly tell me your driving habits are EXACTLY the same. Do you ALWAYS drive the SAME distance, to the SAME place, at the SAME time of day, in the SAME temperature, with the SAME traffic, accelerating and braking at the SAME times, with the SAME number of green lights and red lights, and NEVER changing that pattern, ever? You see, driving habits are not a set thing for anyone. Honestly, 3 mpg is a small difference that could be affected by almost anything. Your car runs fine, it doesn't shake rattle or smoke, so there's probably nothing wrong with it except for the organic control unit. Please, we have exhausted all possibilities, even remote and obscur, and you have rejected ALL of them. So I come to the conclusion that we can not help you, so leave this subject alone. For that reason, if I see a thread like this come up again, I will close it.

its not necessarily always the rpms that you shift (or transmission shifts at for a/t) but more so the throttle that you give it. cruise control was made so that the % throttle wouldnt vary so much when driving, thus giving you better gas mileage. im not saying that you put the gas pedal to the floor, but no matter the amount of gas you give it, it will vary greatly.

The box is not it. When I had it in before the muffler change my gas mileage was still the same.

i have heard of a chick local to me that got a flowmaster, and for one, it didnt sound great, but she had no intake also. and yeah, we can all go on about driving habit, and such, but also temp, houston temps have gone up, and that means hot *** air. lower mileage. so wait it out for winter, try to drive very little, for you $$$ shortage. just wait it out, check everything you can, as i know you probaly already have done. but anyway, wait for the air to chill out a bit.

look bud, he was just making a point, as are many other people. The fact that you have posted so many threads about the same topic is cause enough for the mods to step in. Regardless, everyone up to this point has been fairly patient and as helpful as possible (aside from a few jokes). I've already posted in one of your other threads what I would do if I were in your shoes and THAT pissed about the small change in mpg, but a bit of advice is to not tell a mod to **** off.

So would I have a valid reason to take it in for service and whatever the problem is should be fixed under warranty.

I really wouldnt consider, 3 mpg "dramatic" change. Hell a change in weather would cause that, or driving style, or a number of things,, I really wouldnt worry about it.

Got it. So you still want to shoot down any possibility. People who would rather complain and whine than try to actually find the solution bother me, but hey you're allowed your opinion. But when you personally attack a member (whether it is me or anyone else) I really get pissed. This thread is closed and you'd better think twice next time you reply to people who have spent their own time trying to help you. If you don't like any of our suggestions, then leave!

I for one can state that my mph fluxuates by about 4 mpg, even with a regular schedule. YOU HAVE NO PROBLEM EXCEPT YOUR OWN MIND. Next time you post profanity like that, you're in time out, capice?!
