Ok ok, i know an eye lid how to install is already posted. But it is for the 02-03 model lancers. I have an 04 o-z rally and just recieved my eye lids today in the mail ( Thanks to RRM for their great customer service after my first eye lid package came in through UPS opened and empty) anywayz, i was reading the how to install....and wondered if the process for installing these eye lids was the same. He had loosen up the head light housing and cleaned all around it. Now i'm wondering if i have to do that too...due to the different shape... or what other things i may have to do. If any guys out there with an 04-05 lancer who has installed eye lids to their car.. let me know what u did, i will put them on later this week when i have time. thanks guys

I took my headlight out.. very easy. Clean it off, use the 3m double sided foam tape stuff, and install. Its one of the quickest installs for a mod besides windshield wipers.

 

whoa..that was fast thanks!!!!!! i'm installing it on my day off ... oh yeah.... i bought some performance windshield wipers too...i'm hoping it to give me about 10 hp.....what do u think??? lol

 

I found Bosch work best for me. Either that or the OEM ones. =)

 

Tell me more about the package that arrived empty.

 

Prep/clean the install area and use that 3M tape as stated above. Install good for about 3% hp gain; plus adding those preformance wiper, well... need I say more! I've got the Bosch Micro-Edge wipers too. Any one seen those new wipers with little "spoilers" on the ends? Here, check them out here ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VALEO...spagenameZWDVW ).
