I'm pretty fat... that's why my Lancer weighs so damn much.

The obvious things are we're longer, wider, and our engine is quite noticeably larger.

2 extra doors, big a$$ trunk, probably heavier frame, take a look at our engine bay and civics, also the length of the car, and .2 more liters make a little difference too.

^^You mean .3 liters since they have a 1.7 liter that makes 115hp with dx and Lx and 120-something in the EX. But damn...i seriously think my dads 1992 Toyota Corolla with 187k miles that weighs only 2207lbs and has a 106hp 1.6 liter is faster than my OZ. The only thing that could possibly make it slower is the 3 speed Automatic compared to my 4 speed overdrive. LoL. What a comparison.

2002-2003 Lancer 4dr = 2646lbs curb weight.
2001-2004 Civic 4dr = 2421lbs curb weight.

Just lose 200lbs and ur all set. =)

The new Civic Si is like 25xx lbs.. nearly the same as us.

Civics are only a couple hundred lighter. The older models are even lighter because the safety requirements get stiffer over time.

^ ever read the article associated with that? It's so funny, I almost fell out of my chair. They did get that naturally aspirated sedan under I think 14 seconds with $0 budget!
