what kind of shifter did you get?

I gotta brand new B&M shifter off an Evo guy here on the forums for a really good price, plus the guy was pretty much local so I didn't have to pay shipping, so I couldn't pass that deal up, only thing is, I haven't installed it yet....lol

Buy the Ebay one. It's cheaper and it works well. Many on these boards have it and it works great. (btw there is nothing called the MT Lancer Ralliart, you look like an idiot that knows nothing about cars with that in your "Drives" list)

As for the stiffness issue it does diminish after a bit but you should have used some greese on the joints to make sure they are lubricated well.

Depends on which short shifter you got.. I'm really happy with my ebay short shifter, while other swear by the B&M SS, and more still have said -great- things about RPW's short shifter.

If you didn't swap out all of your shifter bushings, get 'em. It's worth it.

Anyway. Yes, the shifter will loosen a little bit. Not a whole lot. You'll get used to the feeling. You might want to get your gearbox oil changed, too. That helped a lot when I got my SS.

To put that in your Drives slot though... I mean... come on... I mean, it just looks silly. There was someone that started a thread about the Automatic Lancer club awhile back on the off topic forums and I thought that it was just as moronic... in response I started the Manual Transmission Lancer club... It's stupid!

As I just got done telling Lancermarin, via PM, so what if you have a Manual Transmission Lancer... it doesn't make your car special and it isn't what the car is called. He has a Ralliart.
