Insulation for CAI

Hey I am looking to put some insulation around my CAI in the engine compartment, so I was wondering what a good material to use is and where I can get it at? THanks for the help!

I think the effect will be negligible, but DEI definitely makes quality heat insulation/reflection products imo. it's a minor investment that will net minor to no gains, but I guess it can't hurt. If anything this mod would be more beneficial for the FI guys out there, for whom knock and AIT's are far more crucial.

I guess I should explain my reasonings... the CAI vibrates and does so against the transmission, and it makes a loud and quite annoying knocking noise. The reasoning, therefore, is that I would like to cover it up so as to get rid of, or at the very least, lessen that flipping noise. Anyone have any other suggestions as to how to fix that problem other than just insulating?

Injen CAI? Check the fork-looking mount that holds the piping still. Mine broke and did the same thing. Before it broke, no knocking. If it's another type of CAI, please share.

i would think that some sort of device can be used to hold it still rather than to insulate the cai. if you dont get the right one, just make one
