I found someone selling an Evolution front end coversion kit for a '98 Mitsubishi Mirage Sedan and was wondering if anyone knew if it would fit on a 2003 Lancer ES (or could be modified to fit)? It's a direct bolt-on for the Mirage ES (also says a direct bolt-on for an Evolution IV).

Would a front bumper from a Honda accord fit on a civic? No.
Go to a good body shop and they will make it fit.

 

You COULD have it made to fit. People do have kits for other cars made to fit their own, but at that point you'd be better off trying to get a company to build the kit. It would be VERY expensive, and if something got damaged you'd get to spend that money again to replace it.

 

Thanks for the info. I figured about as much, was just hoping for a fit, as it's an Evolution V front end, which I'm having trouble even finding one, let alone for a 2003 Lancer.
