well...ill be definently in the market for the evo when it is released...my mom is giving me a load of money for a new car...and i decided to wait for this one...previously i was thinkin about getting a 2002 altima 3.5. anyways can anyone gimme like the most accurate and/or newest information about the price and specs of the evo? ahhh man i cant wait.....wont have to be rollin in my piece of **** corolla...it is a 2001 model but it doesnt even have ****in power windows or locks!! i am worried about insurance rates tho...i will be only 18 when the evo is released...but im not the one whos gonna be payin for the insurance anyways.
Dood...not to sound mean or anything, but yer *****in about havin a 2001 corolla....what kinda crack are you on??
My first ride was a '91 Ford Probe and I never had a bad thing to say about that car....why??? because it was my first car....
I had this same coversation with someone over at lancerz.com and I'll say to you the same thing I said to him....
Buy the car yourself. I hate people that don't work fer what they have....wait let me rephrase that, I hate people that take for granted what they have. If you want an Evo that bad, then buy it yourself....I garauntee you'll enjoy it more, because you'll know that YOU worked for it, not someone else. Not to mention you're going to have to build up credit sometime, and getting cars from mommy and daddy isn't going to help that situation much.
My parents offered to pay for the Saturn that I have now, but I told them I wanted to pay for it myself....1. Because I hated the idea of them paying for it 2. Because I wanted to build up MAD credit so that I could buy my Evo
I don't know man....whatever.....it's your decision to make, not mine....
As far as the cars go, I've driven my Mom's 2002 Altima and I'm not a big fan of it....the throttle response wasn't very good. I can't really pinpoint why I didn't like it, but it just wasn't that great of a car....even my mom doesn't like it that much, which is saying something.
The Altima and the Evo aren't really even in the same class. The Evo's lookin to be under 30k....the hp # is kinda up in the air right now...anywhere between 260 and 315.
Hooby
P.S. - Sorry fer donkey punchin ya there man, but what I say is the truth...
