Imagine a world with....

...No check engine lights?!?!?

Thanx to ///RRM i have no more check engine light 'SES' from my header. they gave me a mechanical fix to test if it would stop the light and it did! No more annoying orange light Rob said these will come with all headers soon, and they might be available seperately for a few bucks.

he said 20 bucks shipped for those of u who already have the header, and a ten dollar price increase on the header for it to be included.

speculation as the price is not yet firm but from his mouth not mine.

Great, so they threw something together that has been available to everyone since the beginning of modding exhausts. Yippie. Go to Autozone, spend the $3, and fix it yourself.

Oh well, I guess its a nice option for the lazy a**es out there who like everyone else to do their work for them.

The $10 add-on to the header isn't all that bad though. $20 for it alone is a bit much for about 5 minutes of drilling labor.

That world is almost as good as the one where you make the CEL function as a shift light.

This is the spark plug anti-fouler fix? I heard some guys were getting it to work, but that it wasn't fool-proof. If so, +1 shame on RRM.

Crap, my car won't start, it's making funny noises, and the exhaust smells really bad and is blue in color. Well, since I don't have a check engine light the car must be running just fine

Eh, +1 shame on RRM for charging $20 for something this simple that isn't fool proof. If they charged $10 shipped, then I could see it being all right. The only fool proof way to fix this is the O2 simulators. The only way the simulators don't work is if you wire them in wrong. Drawback is they run $50+ shipped.
