Question about the cost of tein install

This is my first post and I already tried to search it but couldn't get a diffinitive answer. I wanted to get my lancer lowered and read that it's better to get matching shocks and struts as to not kill my stocks. I figured I'd save and go for the tein basics, but does any one know the cost of labor for the install? Thank you for your help.

It will be what ever the shops hourly labour rate it. They will usually charge for a 2-3 hour install. Or you can get a case of beer and some pizza and try to bribe some people with knowledge and tools. I know I like taking those jobs!

i think for springs it's supposed to be like $30 a corner, so $120. I'd guess it would be around there. Maybe $150?

I've had a shop quote me a price of $500 to install my tein super streets and do the alignment.....and travelsize420 paid a pretty price to get his basics on...

Im leaning more toward the pizza and beer bribery method since I dont want to spend an arm and a leg getthing these on.

Best of luck in finding a decent price, just shop around.

It realy is not hard to do yourself! I did mine and didnt have a problem just go to the how to section and look it up there. Just take it directly to the aligment shop after your finished. It might feel great but... you need to get this done, Good luck any questions PM me

Just remember to get an alignment. I can't stress that enough, otherwise you're going to buying some new tires.

With no experience with anything about cars at all i installed my tein springs myself in four hours (Thanks to a frame lift and an air rachet).

yeah, my car handled like a dream after the alignment and camber correction.

It's a really easy install. The directions are pretty clear and it took me prolly 3 hours taking my time. Air tools is a plus.

hahahaha - nice self comfidence level pete

I have some co workers that have a small shop so i paid 40 bucks for my install. If you have any mechanically inclined friends - the beer n pizza route sounds good.
