anyone know the hood clearance to the engine?
i.e. the amount of space between the underbelly of the hood and the top of the engine when the hood is closed

 

just use a big pot of molding paste (you know, for children)

put it on your engine, close your hood, reopen, measure

make sure u put the molding paste (play-doh) on the highest point of the engine.

 

i was thinking that since i do sculpting and have loads of clay but it has been raining on and off all day and seems it's only gona get worse through out this weekend(yep...it's raining here in Calif so all you east coasters can have a laugh )just thought i'd take a chance and ask our wounderfull members here...sometimes it is amazeing what some know about our cars
