Mitsu 30,000 Miles Check

okay ive hit passed my 30k and its time for a full check up. Now the trouble i am having right now is this they have a 15k check up which includes just about everything in the 30k check up except a Trans Flush. I can do the 30k for $585 everything or do the 15k for $258 go to a BP certified place and let them do the Trans Flush for $100 i just wanna know which you guys think is better. Thanks.

I'd say learn how to do it yourself. none of it is really that difficult

Okay seriously tho, I haven't modded my car yet, but I was about to start. (bought it used) its at 25k miles, should I wait till after my 30k check to do anything? Will I be able to get the check free or cheaper if i do?

seriously doubt it. none of that was free with mine, just did it myself. all modding does (besides improve the car) is void your warranty

If you can change your oil yourself, you can change the trans oil on a manual. For $30 and 10 min of my time, I put Redline synthetic in mine. My next step is the radiator flush, but I can't find a dran plug. Can anybody tell me where that is before I give up and let Mitsu rape me with labor costs?

probly no drain plug, just pull the lower hose, much faster than a plug too

Us lucky enough to have an auto tranny will all end up some time visiting a professional for that flush. Just a mess and 8 qts., jezz...

$585 is damn expensive. im pretty sure it only includes air filter, oil change, injector flush, trans flush and if we even have a cabin air filter.

got a question...I got the MTL tranny fluid. I've had it literally since summer and now it's getting cold. It's been in my garage just sitting there along with the changing temps here in Chicago. I still can put it in my car right with no problem? Thinking of doing it sometime this week before it freezes...does oil freeze? lol.
