I've heard that the RRM Short Ram is rather loud. Can anyone compare the sound of say the AEM or Injen CAI? Is this sound extremely noticable?

Are there any sound clips out there?


Also. I've noticed that when my radiator fan kicks on it makes a noticable "click" sound. Anyone else hearing this? (I had to turn my music down to hear it =)

Can't really comment on the intake noise, but as far as the fan, I've never noticed any click, but then again, I always have my stereo cranked up

 

I always hear a click when I'm driving my talon, but I never really paid attention to my lancer, but I'm sure it's common, shouldn't be that big of a deal

 

FYI it is common, the Lancer fan kicks in irregularly often, dont sweat it

 

my boy has a injen cai and i have an aem there is a difference in sound but not much the aem is more deeper than injen and bit louder tahts all and my other boy has an aem cai on his type s and that junk is loud espescially when vtech kicks in there is a huge gain in tourch(sp) on his type s i can really feel anything with my cai on the lancer

 

I just installed my rrm sri the other day and at first i thought it was really loud, but i'm already used to it, and love it.
