put money into the lancer.....

im thinking of buying the ralliart head lights for my es, but i was just wondering if its worth it. does it make that big a diffrence? does any one have any pics of this done to there es? i plan on getting the areo mitsubish skirts next month if it makes a diffrence?
what would be the first thing u would change on your es or if u had an es?

so far i have put a full system in it, installed the ralliart spoiler, full tint, exhaust tip, oz gauges, and acouple small things here and there. i have also been thinking of getting one of those hood deflectors, what u guys think? i have a 2004 lancer es and its silver.

oh also does anyone have any picks of that mitsubishi areo 6 piece skirt? i can find one pic of it on the net, i only seen it installed ect in the dealer paper. if anyone has done anything to there es please send me a link ect, i cant find any 04-05 lancer es that are not stock.

thanks in advance everyone

Jason

Ok well it all depends what direction you want to go. Looks or Performance?

I have a 03 ES and I started with more of the looks direction(Rims, Spoiler, Tint, oz gauges, etc) But then I wanted more of a performance car(Intake, header, CB Exhaust, etc). So really it's up to you.

Now with your headlights...I know with mine and almost everyone who has the blacked out headlights(02-03 models) they did it themselves. So to save a few extra bucks you could do it yourself.

It's your car so mod to what you want to do. Looks, performance, suspension, etc. It's all up to you.

Details!

Didn't know that - I thought they'd be selling a decent kit. Oh well. I should have known better - you really can't pop HIDs into a halogen setup and have it work...

Do you have plans to go turbo? There are a few kits out that make around 250whp. Not bad for the ES.

Hey, thanks for the replys and ideas....keep them commin lol.
Anyway i got a friend thats hooking me up with the lights for next to nothing so im just gunna grab them this weekend. as of right now im only interested in getting it to look nice so it dont look so family....car-ish looking lol. im just looking for some good idea and what looks good and bad ect but i cant seem to find an modded es online. any idea?info?pics?tips? i want to get my lancer looking nice by summer. i think i am going to put eye lids on my new headlight but im not 100% sure (need to find more pics before i decide, what u guys think of them) also could i just make them out of matching colour vinal paper from a local art store? would the light go through the vinal? does any place make the eyelids or does everyone make there owne?

does anyone know if its legal in canada to have blue fender marker lights? i really wont to get them but i dont want to be pulled over all the time.

i planned on buying those lancer ralliart fog lights today thats on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-05...spagenameZWDVW but i figured i should ask around about them to see if anyone has got them and if they look good, install right, ect...oh and arnt a piece of sh*y? are these fog OK to buy??

as for performace the turbo would be amazing! but i didnt think they made a bolt on kit for these cars and installing one would be REALLY hard and cost alot. were can i get a bolt on turbo setup for my low lil lancer ES?lol..... aside from the turbo would any other performance mods really do anything? how much gain would u get from headers anyway? anyone install this turbo kit on the ES? whats the numbers??

again thanks for helping me out

Good to hear. Never seen them in action, so I'm reserving my judgement.

Talking

This is wat i am planning to do on my 04 ES (LOOK WISE) ...

1. Get the black projector lights form ebay.

2. Fron lip form RRM. (Carbon fiber or Fiber glass...depends on the bank account)

3. Accolade Front Grill (Already have it)

4. Ralliart side skirts and rear bumper lip........if cant find one than buy the side skirts from accolade.

5. Lower it w/ RRM PROGRESS SPRINGS and yeah no spoiler !!! Wingless is the way to go.

6. Might shave the rear trunk and get the XI bumper from accolade.

7. 5% tint all over.

That is pretty much it for the looks.

PERFORMANCE WISE (FROM RRM OFCOURSE)...

1. Intake

2. Exhaust

3. Headers

4. Crank Pulley

5. Piggy back

6. Turbo if i have any $$

7. Strut bars

Interior wise:

1. RALLIART SEATS in the front

2. Remove rear seats

These are just my future goals, i am not really into the sound system so i am not gonna spend any $$ on that.

I hope that this gives you some ideas......keep up posted with any mods and pics

Best mod I ever did.

But I'll be nice and not comment on what I paid . . .

pretty simple fact, reflector style headlights + hid = glare, perhaps no complaints yet it still rings true.
